Legal & Compliance
The policies governing how we and our products handle your information.
Privacy Policy
Effective: April 30, 2026
Sleet Systems Inc ("Sleet Systems," "we," "our," or "us") operates SleetPOS, point-of-sale software licensed to retail merchants ("Merchants") who use it to process transactions and communicate with their own customers ("End Customers"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose information when Merchants and End Customers interact with our products and services.
Information We Collect
From Merchants: business name, owner name, email address, phone number, business address, EIN, payment processor credentials, and store configuration data.
From End Customers (collected by Merchants and processed on their behalf): name, phone number, email address, transaction history, loyalty data, and SMS/email consent records.
Automatically: device identifiers, IP address, app version, error logs, and usage analytics necessary to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve our products
- To process transactions on behalf of Merchants
- To deliver SMS and email messages that End Customers have opted in to receive
- To enforce our Terms of Service and applicable law (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, A2P 10DLC compliance)
- To communicate with Merchants about their account and our service
Sharing
We do not sell End Customer personal information. We share data only with: (a) service providers under contract who help us deliver the service (Twilio for SMS, Resend for email, Google Firebase for hosting and authentication), (b) authorities when legally required, and (c) successors in the event of a corporate transaction.
Your Rights
End Customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting the Merchant they transacted with, or by emailing sleetpostech@gmail.com. Merchants honor these requests through tooling we provide, which records soft-deletes and revocation events on an append-only audit log.
Retention
We retain transaction records and consent logs for as long as required by law or contract, after which they are anonymized or deleted.
